Errors – Cause – Remedy
Malfunction / error Cause Remedy
Low output of the Diesel engine
(reduced performance).
There is a fault in the fuel system
(blockage, leak).
Carry out a visual inspection for
leaks, replace the filter. Contact your
nearest authorized Kohler service
representative. See "Service
Assistance" section.
The charge pressure is too low. The terminals are loose, the seals
and hoses are faulty, the air filter is
dirty, the turbocharger is faulty.

The charge air temperature is too
high.
The charge air cooler is dirty, the
fan’s performance is low, the
ambient temperature is too high.,
Contact your nearest authorized
Kohler service representative. See

The coolant temperature is too high. Check the cooler for soiling, check
the fan and thermostat, check the
coolant level. Contact your nearest
authorized Kohler service
representative. See "Service
Assistance" section.
The fuel temperature is too high. Contact your nearest authorized

The injection nozzles are faulty or do
not vaporize.

The Diesel engine’s compression is
too low.
Contact your nearest authorized

There is a fault in the electronic
system.
Read out the error logs of the engine
control unit. Contact your nearest
authorized Kohler service

The Diesel engine is too hot
(according to the coolant
temperature display).
The coolant level is too low. Fill up with coolant.
The cooler is dirty or calcified. Clean or descale. Contact your
nearest authorized Kohler service
representative. See "Service
Assistance" section.
The thermostat is faulty. Check this and replace if necessary.
