DISASSEMBLY
Oil Pump
NOTE: The oil pump rotors, shaft, and drive gear are
virtually trouble-free and normally require little
service. These parts should be removed only
if service or replacement is necessary.
1. Remove the self-tapping screws, cover, and
pump rotors. Refer to Figures 9-39 and 9-40.

2. Using a small-diameter drift punch, drive the roll
pin out of the pump drive gear and shaft. Remove
shaft, drive gear, and shim spacer. Refer to
Figure 9-41.
