Battery Heater Connection (26 RCA/L Models)
Connect one end of the battery heater cable to the wire harness at P21. See the Drawings and Diagrams section for the
connection details.

5.7.2 Breather Tube and Oil Heater
The breather tube heater and oil heater kit is recommended for improved cold starting in locations where the ambient temperature
drops below 0°C (32°F).
Note:
The heaters require a continuous source of AC power. See Figure 50 and Figure 51 for the power supply voltage required.
Note:
The breather tube heater and oil heater must be used together.
Note:
The breather tube heater and oil heater kit cannot be used with a carburetor heater.
Verify that AC power is connected to the generator set as described in the generator set Installation Manual. The circuit must be
backed up by the generator set to provide power at all times. Refer to TT-1709 for instructions to install the heaters and connect
120VAC power.
See Figure 52 and Figure 53 for illustrations of the 120 VAC breather tube heater and oil heater.
