Removal and installation of
monitor assembly
Removal
k Disconnect the negative terminal (–) of the
battery before starting the work.
1. Remove cap (1).
2. Remove cover (2) and then disconnect wiring
connector P31 (3) for air conditioner sunlight
sensor (S).
3. Remove duct (4).
4. Remove cover (5) as follows. [*1]
1) Insert flat-head screwdriver inside slit (SL)
and push it upward.
2) Release lock (L) and remove the cover.
3) Disconnect wiring connector M04 of the
cigarette lighter from the back of cover (5).
5. Remove the 4 mounting bolts and lift monitor
assembly (6). [*2]
6. Disconnect connectors CM01 (7), CM02 (8)
and CM03 (9).
a Since CM02 (8) and CM03 (9) can be
installed reversely, be careful not to mis-
take. CM03 (9) is a green connector.
7. In the case of rear camera specification, dis-
connect connector CN-5 (11).
8. Disconnect connector (10).
