Remote Mode
To control the instrument from a PC, use the data management software CS-S20. For the
specications and operation of CS-S20, refer to the instruction manual of CS-S20.
When the instrument is connected to a PC and CS-S20 is active on the PC, the instrument
enters remote mode automatically.
While the instrument is controlled with a PC, "REMOTE" is displayed at the bottom of the
LCD screen. (Refer to page 16.)
While this message is displayed, the key operation on the instrument is disabled except for
the following case:
• There is a measurement mode that performs measurement when the Measuring button
on the instrument is pressed and then sends the measured value to the PC.
