Measuring Temperature °F (model 293A only)
1. Set the function switch at TEMP position; the LCD display
will show the current environment temperature.
2. Insert “K” type thermocouple into the temperature measu
ring socket on the front panel and contact the object to be
measured with the thermocouple probe. Read LCD display.
Note:
1. To avoid electric shock, be sure the thermocouple has been
removed before changing to another function measure-
ment.
The isolation voltage of the thermocouple is <30
volts.
Measuring Frequency (model 295A only)
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack and the red test
lead to the V/ž/F jack.
2. Set the function switch at the Hz position and connect test
leads across the source or load under measurement.
Note:
The input voltage should be between 200mV and 10V rms AC.
If voltage is more than 10V rms, the reading may be inaccura-
te.
