1. OPERATING PRINCIPLE
The pump consists of :
x a central air motor (1),
x two identical fluid chambers (2) located on either
side of the motor.
The motor is directly supplied with compressed air
from the air pressure network (maximum 6 bar / 87
PSI) or via an air r egulator (depending on the
model). An air chamber is alternatively supplied by
an air distributor, thus causing the motion of the
diaphragms. Each of the two fluid chambers
includes a suction valve and an exhaust valve.
Alternatively material is siphoned and exhausted by
each chamber.
At the pump outlet, a fluid regulator with pilot (3)
provides a constant fluid pressure and flow rate.
The fluid pressure is equal to the pressur e read on
the gauge (4).
The atomizing air pressure is adjusted by means of
the air regulator (5). The pressure is read on the
gauge (6).
