After turning on the blades, always check to see whether all the cutters have swivelled up.
If this is not the case:
• Move the blade control shafts (A/B) to the zero position of blades (turn both blade control
shafts (A/B) to position (-))
• Lower the conveyor floor mechanically or hydraulically
• Clean the cutter base and especially the cutter slots thoroughly
After cleaning:
• Set the desired chop length
After the blade control shafts (A/B) have been adjusted, the cutters automatically swivel back up
into working position.
If they have not, lightly tap any blades that have not already swivelled up with a tool (for
example a hammer) striking the back of the cutters to move them back to working position.
• Raise the cutter base.
