If the light comes
on, remove, empty and
clean the drip tray.
The drip tray receives residual water and the coffee grounds collector receives used coffee grounds.
The coffee cleaning tray allows you to eliminate any deposits of coffee grounds above the brewing chamber.
The light will remain on if the coffee grounds collector is not inserted correctly or if it has been
put back in less than 6 seconds. You cannot make espresso or coffee while the light is on or is flashing.
The coffee grounds collector has a maximum capacity of 12 coffee cakes.
MAINTAINING YOUR MACHINE
As soon as you remove the coffee grounds collector, you will have to empty it completely to avoid any overflow.
CLEANING PROGRAM – TOTAL DURATION: ABOUT 20 MINUTES
RINSING OF THE CIRCUITS: see page 9
The machine will let you know when you need to pro-
ceed with cleaning by the ‘clean’ light coming on.
This programme is available only when the appliance
requests it (that means roughly every 300 coffee or
espresso cycles).
Caution! To benefit from the warranty conditions, it is
essential to perform the machine cleaning cycle
when informed to do so. Be sure to follow the order of
operations.
You can continue to use the machine when the light is on, but
you are advised to perform the program as soon as possible.
