      hernandezalexAug 23, 2025
If your KTM Motorcycle engine overheats, several factors could be responsible. First, check the cooling liquid level and refill if insufficient, also inspect the cooling system for any leaks. Ensure the radiator fins are clean; if extremely dirty, clean them with a water jet. Another cause might be foam in the cooling system, which necessitates replacing the cooling liquid with a brand-name antifreeze. Inspect the radiator hose for kinks or damage; correct the hose routing or replace it if needed. If the fan fuse is blown, replace it. Finally, the thermostat could be defective, requiring a check of its opening temperature (75°C), or there might be air in the cooling system, requiring you to bleed the cooling system.

    • M
      melissa04Aug 30, 2025
If your KTM Motorcycle has high oil consumption, it could be due to the engine oil level being too high. Check the engine oil level when the engine is warm and correct it if necessary. Another reason could be that the engine oil is too thin (viscosity). In this case, use thicker engine oil, referring to the 'Engine oil' chapter for guidance.
