Why Kubota U17-3 Tier4 Excavators engine starting is difficult?
    • A
      Ashlee CruzAug 17, 2025
If your Kubota Excavators engine is hard to start, several factors could be the cause. The fuel might be too viscous, or there could be air or water in the fuel system. Check the fuel tank and filter, and remove any water from the fuel tank. Also, inspect fuel pipe joint bolts and nuts for looseness. If the oil viscosity is too high, especially in winter, pour hot water over the radiator or use oils of different viscosities depending on the ambient temperature, such as SAE10W, SAE10W-30, or SAE10W-40. A nearly dead battery or insufficient compression can also cause starting issues, so try recharging the battery.
