First, ensure the fuel valve is in the correct position and that there's sufficient fuel in the tank. Check the fuel filter and replace it if needed. Also, inspect the fuel line coupler bolt and nut to ensure they are tight. If air or water has entered the fuel system, bleed the fuel system. In cold weather, use oil with appropriate viscosity for the ambient temperatures. Lastly, check the battery; clean the cables and terminals, charge it fully, and in very cold conditions, store the battery indoors when not in use.
