Before the machine engages the crop:
From the working position:
- Engage the tractor PTO and slowly increase the
speed up to 540 min
-1
.
Headland turn maneuvers
- Activate single acting valve of the transport/work
positioning cylinder in the transport position direction:
• Prompted by the limiter adjustment screw (1), the
headland turn valve (2) shuts off the supply to the
transport/work positioning cylinder. The machine is
in headland turn position.
Groundspeed
At work, the hydraulic valve controlling the
transport/work positioning cylinder must
always be set in floating position in order to
allow a good ground adaptation.
Operate the cutterbar using the "pivot into
transport/work" position cylinder.
The lift linkage clears simultaneously the
main frame and cutter bar off the ground.
- Adapt the forward speed to the working
conditions.
