Assigning a Footswitch to Switch From One Setup To Another
9. Next, press the Exit button to the right of the display to exit the Setup Editor. When prompted to
save the setup, press the Ye s soft button (see below.)
10. When prompted to choose an ID#, press the - and + buttons at the same time (below the Alpha
Wheel) to jump from the suggested ID# (the first available user ID#) to the Setup’s original ID#,
ID# 28 (see below.)
11. Next, press the Save soft button at the bottom of the display to finish and return to the Setups list
(see above.) This will replace the original factory Setup 28 World with our edited version. This is
essential for this tutorial because when we are done, stepping on the switch pedal will bring us up
one Setup to the Setup 29 Rollin’. (See About ID#s on page 13-3 to find out how you can return a
replaced factory Setup to its original settings if desired.)
12. After saving, you will be returned to the Setups list on the Setup Mode main page with the Setup 28
World selected. There will be a dot to the left of the Setup’s ID# indicating that it has been edited
(see below.) Now, try stepping on the switch pedal plugged into the SW2 pedal jack, and the Setup
29 Rollin’ will be selected. If not, go over this tutorial again to see if you have made a mistake.
