Loading paper
Collect the head cap
• Remove the protective caps for shipping.
Head treatment unit
(Remove the fixing screws)
• Push the treatment unit inside the main unit and remove the screws for the head treatment unit.
Image conveying unit
(Re-install to the original position)
• Re-install the image conveying unit.
Ink initial supply (Set up flow)
Initial ink supply to the print head
• Syringe of the Ink and the cleaning liquid, the air vent and fill up for the circulation pipe and the
filter.
• Perform set up mode
• Replace the preserving liquid in the print head unit to the ink and the cleaning liquid by purging and
filling up
• Remove nozzle clogging (purge): U744

• Check head position adjustment: U468
Head top timing adjustment: U469
Head overlap adjustment: U469
