Attaching the Protective Sheets
• Attach the protective sheets to protect the paper feeder’s top cover.

Attaching to the paper feeder

Align the ends of the sheets with the edge [A] on the right side, and attach the sheets
according to the following dimensions. (Be sure not to let any bubbles form under the
sheets.)
When two paper feeders are connected

Make sure that the height difference between the multipurpose tray connection kit [A]
and the bridge kit [B] is not more than 1.5 mm.

• Before performing the following procedure, make sure that the main power switch and AC power switch of the
main unit are turned OFF and that the power cord is disconnected. Performing the procedure with the power
on could result in an electric shock or could cause a malfunction.
