5 Adjustment
Adjustment settings customize the two color spaces in the driver. You can
make color space changes to hue, saturation, and lightness (HSL) or to color
balance levels.
In the preview area, you can click Details to see how the adjustment settings
appear on a page.
Adjusting Color Settings
You can customize the two color spaces.

Open the document you want to print and choose File > Print.
If the Print dialog contains only two pop-up menus and some buttons across the
bottom, click the disclosure triangle beside the Printer pop-up menu.

Choose Adjustment from the print options pop-up menu.

Under Adjustment, select the Custom checkbox.

Select HSL (hue, saturation and lightness), to adjust the distribution and
balance of hues.
• For coordinated hue adjustment, choose Master from the Modify pop-up
menu. Drag the Hue slider to increase or decrease the value between -180
and +180.
• For specific hue adjustment, choose Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, or
Magenta from the Modify pop-up menu. Drag the Hue slider to increase or
decrease the value between -10 and +10.
• Drag each slider to adjust the Saturation, Brightness, and Contrast
between -10 and +10.

Select Color Balance to adjust only the relative values of the colors red, green,
and blue of RGB, or cyan, magenta, and yellow of Full color.
• Under each pair of colors, drag the slider to adjust the relative values
between –10 and +10.

Click Print.
