The MARS cabinets each have 3 fans for Mars/Mars Pro 900-1200. 1 fan is for exhaust and 2 fans are for
down-flow and Mars/Mars Pro 1500-1800 4 fans. 1 fan is for exhaust and 3 fans are for down-flow. The fans
are access from behind the front service panel, which must first be removed.
Ensure the cabinet has been fully decontaminated and that the users can produce a decontamination certificate to ensure
the cabinet is safe to work on. DO NOT PROCEED WITHOUT THIS CERTIFICATE
Replacement of the fans is a simple matter of disconnecting the wiring, removing the securing bolts and removing the fans.
Fitting is the reverse procedure.
