What to do if Laerdal Laboratory Equipment LCSU 4 has no suction?
- NNicholas WilliamsAug 12, 2025
If your Laerdal Laboratory Equipment LCSU 4 operates but provides little to no suction, several factors could be responsible: * The canister or tube may not be properly connected. Ensure all connections are secure and check for leaks. * The canister might be full. If so, remove and replace it. * There may be a poor vacuum connection between the LCSU 4 and the canister. Follow the correct procedure for assembling the canister and tubing. * The lid may not be properly sealed (800 ml canister only). Check that the lid is correctly secured to the canister. * The patient tube could be twisted or blocked. Inspect the tube and replace it if necessary. * The filter might be clogged (300 ml canister only). Check the filter for clogs.
