3.4 . Prevention of man overboard
Regularly check the lifelines:
Considering the metal lifelines, check the
appearance of rust-spots and corrosion, particularly
at connection points.
Considering the synthetic lifelines, have them
changed as soon as the  rst signs of wear and tear
appear because of cha ng or of UV.

The deck areas which are not considered as being
part of the working deck and which should not
be used when sailing are hatched on the diagram
below.

2 - Safety ladder
Ensure that the means of returning on board is
immediately accessible and usable by a person alone
and in the water.
A swimming ladder is located on the aft
starboard transom.
A safety ladder is integrated in the aft starboard
transom.
