emitter
current
from
QlO
controls
tandem
regulator
Qll,
which
tracks
with
Q9
to
split
voltage
and
power.
For
example,
when
voltage
across
Q9
increases
due
to
a
regulating
action,
the
current
in
R32 and R33
also
increases,
causing
base
of QlO
to
be
biased
toward
cutoff
which
in
turn
biases
Qll
toward
cutoff
so
that
the
voltage
across
Qll
increases
until
the
voltage
across
Qll
and
Q9
are
approximately
equal.
