Why Land Pride DM3705 Lawn Mower is not cutting clean?
    • J
      johnwuJul 29, 2025
Several factors can cause this. It could be due to dull blades, which means you should replace them. Alternatively, the mower might not be level, requiring an adjustment. Also, check if the ground speed is too fast and reduce it if needed. Ensure the blades are not locked back; if they are, free them. Finally, verify that the blade is correctly installed for the disc's rotation and change blade pairs if necessary.

What to do if Land Pride Lawn Mower gearbox is leaking?
    • P
      Pamela JenkinsAug 1, 2025
A leaking gearbox can stem from several issues. Start by checking for a damaged oil seal and replace it if necessary. A bent shaft could also be the culprit, in which case, replace both the oil seal and the shaft. If the oil seal isn't properly sealing in the housing, replace the seal or apply a sealant to its outer diameter. Additionally, ensure the oil level isn't too high by draining it to the correct level. Damaged gaskets should be replaced, and loose bolts need to be tightened.

Why Land Pride Lawn Mower has uneven stubble?
    • R
      Richard BurnsAug 6, 2025
Uneven stubble can occur for several reasons. There might be too much tilt on the cutter bar, so reduce the tilt. Ensure that the PTO speed isn't too low by increasing the engine speed to run the PTO at 540 rpm. Also, confirm that the blades are installed correctly, ensuring the arrow on the knife's upper face points in the disc's rotation direction. Low disc speed can also cause this, so check the belt for correct tension. Replace dull or broken blades, and level the three-point arms to ensure the float mechanism functions properly.

What causes streaking conditions in the swath of Land Pride DM3705 Lawn Mower?
    • J
      Justin CrossAug 11, 2025
Streaking in the swath may occur if the conditions are too wet for cutting; allow the grass to dry and reduce the tractor's ground speed while maintaining full PTO rpm. Dull blades can also cause this, so sharpen or replace them. Check for wet mud buildup between the skid shoes and clean the area, raising the cutting height. Lastly, ensure the blades are correctly oriented for the disc's rotation by changing blade pairs if necessary.

Why is Land Pride DM3705 Lawn Mower stubble too long?
    • C
      Chelsea McdonaldAug 14, 2025
If the stubble is too long, the cutter bar angle may be incorrect; adjust it using the tractor's top link. Insufficient cutter bar down pressure can also cause this, so adjust the compensating spring tension. Make sure that the 3-point arms are level to ensure the float mechanism functions properly.

Why is soil building up in front of Land Pride DM3705 cutter bar?
    • K
      kristenbarrettAug 19, 2025
Soil buildup in front of the cutter bar may be due to very wet conditions; adjust the main frame height by shortening the safety chain as needed. Too much cutter bar down pressure can also cause this, so adjust the compensating spring tension. Additionally, ensure the 3-point arms are level to allow the float mechanism to function correctly.

Why Land Pride Lawn Mower breaking back too easily?
    • G
      gerald49Aug 23, 2025
If the machine is breaking back too easily, it could be due to insufficient tension on the break-away spring washers; tighten the break-away spring. Ensure the 3-point arms are level so the float mechanism functions properly. Also, check if the Belleville washers are flattened and replace them if needed.
