REEL LOADING
1. Lubricate the hole in the reel
hubs.
WARNING! If the reel hubs are
not properly lubricated, the high
RPMs attained during figure-8ing
and rewinding the cable can
generate enough heat to deform
the arbor hole in the reel. The
deformed reel could stop turning
which could damage the cable.
2. Remove the arbor from the lifting
rack or storage tube.
3. Remove any locking collars and
bushings from the arbor. Lubricate
the inside of the bushing. Place the
bushing in the hole in the reel hub.
4. Slide a locking collar onto the
arbor with the flange facing the reel.
