8 Maintenance
8.1 Cleaning
Before cleaning the unit, pull out the mains plug!
The unit can be cleaned with water adding a few drops of detergent (washing up liquid), using a moist
cloth
Water must not enter the control unit
Carry out appropriate detoxification if dangerous material has been spilled on or
inside the unit.
Method of cleaning and detoxification are decided by the special knowledge of the
user. In case of doubt please contact the manufacturer
8.2 Maintenance and repair
Before any maintenance and repair work pull out the mains plug!
Repairs on the control unit must only be carried out by properly qualified personnel!
LAUDA thermostats are largely maintenance-free. If the thermostating liquid becomes dirty it has to be
replaced (
Section 5.2.).
If a fuse blows (

supply indication not alight) fit only fuses as specified (2 x T 16 A; 1 x
T 2,5 A, size 5 x 20
