9 Faults
In the event of a fault, the operating unit indicates all alarms, faults and
warnings that occur on the constant temperature equipment. The proce-
dure for rectifying a fault depends on the unit. Observe the corresponding
instructions in the constant temperature equipment’s operating manual.
The following faults can occur on the operating unit itself:

The display is not
showing anything.
The constant tem-
perature equipment is
switched o.
Switch the constant
temperature equip-
ment on.
No LiBus connection. Check the LiBus
connection on the
constant temperature
equipment and con-
nector.
The operating unit or
LiBus connecting cable
is defective.
Contact the LAUDA
service.
The display lights up
but does not react
when entering infor-
mation.
When touched, the
display reacts too hes-
itantly or too quickly.
Press harder when tap-
ping the display or
enter the information
more slowly.
The display does not
react at all when
touched.
If possible, tap the dis-
play with your fingers,
remove your gloves if
necessary.
The display is defective. Contact the LAUDA
service.
If you are unable to correct a fault, contact the LAUDA service, see
