Why is there too much water in the boiler of my LAVAZZA LB 2810 Coffee Maker?

If your LAVAZZA Coffee Maker has too much water in the boiler, the solenoid valve of the automatic level device might be damaged and need replacement. Another possibility is a perforated heat exchanger, which would require replacing the boiler. Additionally, the solenoid valve of the automatic level device may remain connected; check the level probe, the earth of the frame, and the operation of the electronic control unit.

If the pressure gauge on your LAVAZZA Coffee Maker indicates an unacceptable pressure, the pressure gauge itself may be defective and need replacement. Alternatively, the boiler calibration could be incorrect; adjust the calibration of the boiler.

If you find grounds in your cup from your LAVAZZA Coffee Maker, the capsule-holder might be dirty; clean it. If the lower perforator holes are worn, replace the lower perforator. A worn internal gasket can also cause this; reduce the boiler temperature. Finally, if the temperature of the dispensed water is too high, replace the reducer with one of a smaller diameter.

Why is the pump leaking water in my LAVAZZA LB 2810?
S
Samuel BryanSep 12, 2025
If the pump in your LAVAZZA Coffee Maker leaks water, it could be due to a poor mechanical seal of the shaft or the O-Ring; check the pump and take any corrective actions. Loose inlet and outlet connections can also cause leaks; tighten the connectors. Additionally, check if the hexagonal nut of the pressure relief valve or the filter are loose and tighten them. Finally, a defective gasket or O-Ring of the pressure relief valve of the filter might be the issue; replace the gasket and the O-Ring, being careful not to change the calibration of the pump.

Why does the pump work below the nominal capacity in my LAVAZZA Coffee Maker?
V
Vincent AndersonSep 12, 2025
If the pump in your LAVAZZA Coffee Maker works below the nominal capacity, the inlet may be clogged, even partially; clean the pump filter. The pump might also be rotating in the wrong direction; check the motor. If the pump is not properly calibrated, calibrate it. A low RPM of the motor can also cause this; check the voltage or replace the motor. Finally, the inside of the pump may be damaged due to the infiltration of foreign matter; replace the pump.
