9. CHANNEL INSERTS
STEREO JACK connectors: allow to use an external device
to process the signal of the MONO channels. The INSERT
connectors have the signal SEND on the JACK TIP and the
signal RETURN on the JACK RING (see CONNECTOR CABLES).
10. +48V
Use these switches to provide +48V PHANTOM power supply
to the XLR MIC inputs on the MONO channels (required to
operate condenser microphones).
NOTE: in order to avoid damages when you use
condenser and dynamic microphones together, be
ALWAYS sure to use XLR BALANCED cables for the
microphone connection when you operate the PHANTOM
power. Always plug in the microphones and turn down all
the channels' level BEFORE switching on the PHANTOM
power.
