What to do if the plough frame turns but the turnover ram switches over prematurely on my LEMKEN Farm Equipment?
    • D
      Dennis MooreJul 27, 2025
If the plough frame of your LEMKEN Farm Equipment turns, but the turnover ram switches over before reaching the half-turned position, causing the plough frame to turn back again, it could be due to a few reasons: * The pre-adjusted switchover pressure might be too low. You can increase it by fitting additional washers (U), where one washer equals a 10 bar increase in switch-over pressure. * The inner turnbuckle might be too short. Try lengthening it. * The bearing of the turnover device might be damaged. In this case, check the bearings and replace them if necessary.

What to do if the memory ram doesn't open or close on my LEMKEN Farm Equipment?
    • M
      Michele RodriguezAug 1, 2025
If the memory ram on your LEMKEN Farm Equipment does not open or close, it's because the throttle bores of the threaded throttle in the memory ram are blocked. To resolve this, screw out the threaded throttles out of the ram connections using a circlip tong and clean them. Note that connection (S) has no throttle.

Why does the plough frame start turning prematurely on my LEMKEN Farm Equipment?
    • S
      Shaun FieldsAug 4, 2025
If the plough frame on your LEMKEN Farm Equipment starts turning before the Memory ram or swing-in ram are fully swung in, it's likely due to high friction of the frame pivot bolts. Carefully grease the pivot bolts according to the maintenance table.

What to do if the front furrow width changes during work with my LEMKEN Farm Equipment?
    • P
      Paul GillespieAug 9, 2025
If the front furrow width of your LEMKEN Farm Equipment changes during work, it's likely that the piston seal of the swing-in ram or Memory ram is leaking. The suggested solution is to replace the piston seal.

Why does the plough frame on my LEMKEN Farm Equipment stop in the middle position?
    • C
      Carla TuckerAug 13, 2025
If the plough frame of your LEMKEN Farm Equipment turns up to the middle position and stops, it means that the required switchover pressure for the turnover ram has not been reached by the tractor hydraulics. To solve this: a) Reduce the pre-adjusted switchover pressure by removing the washers (U). Removing one disc means a pressure reduction of approximately 10 bar. The washers (U) are located behind the plug (V). b) Check the hydraulic assembly of the tractor and maintain it if required.

What to do if the turnover ram switches over without turning the plough frame on my LEMKEN Farm Equipment?
    • M
      Ms. Heather FergusonAug 18, 2025
If the turnover ram on your LEMKEN Farm Equipment switches over without turning the plough frame, it could be due to: a) The pre-adjusted turnover pressure being too low. Increase the pre-adjusted switchover pressure by adding an additional washer (U). b) The cone or its seat of the switchover valve is damaged and leaky. Replace the hydraulic ram.

    Marie GrayAug 22, 2025
How to fix rattling during the first turning phase of my LEMKEN Farm Equipment plough?
    • T
      Teresa MeyerAug 22, 2025
If your LEMKEN Farm Equipment plough turns with a rattling sound during the first turning phase, it's because the plough frame runs forward, creating a vacuum in the hydraulic ram. To fix this: a) Lengthen the inner turnbuckle. b) Fit a smaller throttle to the connection (T) of the turnover ram.
