► Ensure the measuring surface does not come into contact with other objects.
► Only touch the connector pins and connection wires if your body is suitably
earthed, for example via an ESD wrist strap, to prevent damage to the electronic
components due to electrostatic discharge.
► After mounting the MiniCODER ensure the air gap between the measuring sur-
face and measuring scale is within the permissible range to ensure correct
function.
► Only remove the MiniCODER from the foam packaging immediately prior to
mounting.
► GEL 2440: Check if the target wheel has the number of teeth approved for that
type: 128, 256, 384, or 512.
