andenablesimpleandsecureuseraccess.ByenrollingyourngerprintandassociatingitwithaWindows
passwordyoucanlogontothecomputerbyswipingyourngeroverthereader,withouttypingpasswords.
Enrollingyourngerprint
Tousetheintegratedngerprintreader,beginbyenrollingyourngerprintasfollows:
1.Turnonyourcomputer.
2.TostartLenovoFingerprintsoftware,referto“FingerprintSoftware”onpage22.
3.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentoenrollyourngerprint.Fordetails,refertotheHelpforthe

Swipingyourngeroverthereader
Toswipeyourngeroverthereader,doasfollows:
1.Placetheballofyournger—thatis,thecentralpartofthengerprint—onthesmallcircleabovethe
reader.Makesurethattheentiretopjointofthengerisonthereader.
