DisablingtheUltraNavpointingdeviceandusinganexternalmouse

IfyouattachanexternalmousetoaUSBconnector,youcanusetheexternalmousesimultaneouslywith

theTrackPointpointingdeviceandthetouchpad.

DisablingtheTrackPointorthetouchpad

TodisabletheTrackPointorthetouchpad,dothefollowing:

1.GotoControlPanelandclickHardwareandSound➙Mouse➙UltraNav.

2.TodisabletheTrackPointpointingdevice,clearthecheckboxforEnableTrackPoint.

Todisablethetouchpad,clearthecheckboxforEnableTouchPad.

3.ClickOK.

Note:YoucanalsochangetheUltraNavpointingdevicesettingsbyclickingtheUltraNaviconinthe

Windowsnoticationarea.IfyoucannotseetheUltraNavicon,clickthetriangulariconintheWindows

noticationareatoshowhiddenicons.

AddingtheUltraNavicontotheWindowsnoticationarea

ForeasyaccesstotheUltraNavproperties,youcanenablethedisplayoftheUltraNaviconintheWindows

noticationarea.

ToenablethedisplayoftheUltraNaviconintheWindowsnoticationarea,dothefollowing:

1.GotoControlPanelandclickHardwareandSound➙Mouse.

2.IntheMousePropertieswindow,clicktheUltraNavtab.

3.SelectthecheckboxforShowUltraNavicononthesystemtray.

4.ClickOK.

YoucannowchangethepropertiesoftheUltraNavpointingdevicebyclickingtheUltraNaviconinthe

Windowsnoticationarea.

Note:IfyoucannotseetheUltraNavicon,clickthetriangulariconintheWindowsnoticationarea

toshowhiddenicons.
