WhatthisWarrantyCovers:
Lenovowarrantsthateachhardwareproductthatyoupurchaseisfreefrom
defectsinmaterialsandworkmanshipundernormaluseandconditionsduringthe
warrantyperiod.Iftheproductfailsduetoacovereddefectduringthewarranty
period,LenovowillprovideyouaremedyunderthisLimitedWarranty.The
warrantyperiodfortheproductstartsontheoriginaldateofpurchasespecied
onyoursalesreceiptorinvoiceunlessLenovoinformsyouotherwiseinwriting.
Thewarrantyperiodandtypeofwarrantyservicethatapplytoyourproductare
setforthbelowinPart3-WarrantyServiceInformation.
THEBENEFITSGIVENBYTHISWARRANTYAREINADDITIONTOYOUR
RIGHTSANDREMEDIESATLAW,INCLUDINGTHOSEUNDERTHE
AUSTRALIANCONSUMERLAW.
ThefollowingreplacesthesamesectioninPart1:
ReplacementProductsandParts:
Whenwarrantyserviceinvolvesthereplacementofaproductorpart,thereplaced
productorpartbecomesLenovo’spropertyandthereplacementproductorpart
becomesyourproperty.OnlyunalteredLenovoproductsandpartsareeligiblefor
replacement.ThereplacementproductorpartprovidedbyLenovomaynotbe
new,butitwillbeingoodworkingorderandatleastfunctionallyequivalenttothe
originalproductorpart.Thereplacementproductorpartshallbewarrantedfor
thebalanceoftheperiodremainingontheoriginalproduct.Productsandparts
presentedforrepairmaybereplacedbyrefurbishedproductsorpartsofthe
sametyperatherthanbeingrepaired.Refurbishedpartsmaybeusedtorepair
theproduct;andrepairoftheproductmayresultinlossofdata,iftheproductis
capableofretaininguser-generateddata.
