What to do if DVD drive is not recognized in Lenovo Server?

If the DVD drive is not recognized, ensure that: the SATA channel to which the DVD drive is attached is enabled in the Setup Utility program; all cables and jumpers are correctly installed; the signal cable and connector are not damaged; and the correct device driver is installed for the DVD drive. Also, try reseating the DVD drive and its cables. If the issue persists, replace the DVD drive and its cables, one at a time, restarting the server each time. As a last resort, have a trained service technician replace the system board.
