FunctionalityandsupportedoperatingsystemscanvarywithdifferentversionsoftheEasyStartupprogram.

1.InserttheThinkServerEasyStartupDVDandrestarttheserver.

RAIDcontrollers,operatingsystems,andservercongurationssupportedbythatversionofthe
EasyStartupprogram.

versionoftheEasyStartupprogram.
BeforeusingtheEasyStartupprogramtoinstallanoperatingsystem,makesureanyexternalstorage
devicesandberchannelsareconguredcorrectly.
Setupandconguration
WhenyoustarttheThinkServerEasyStartupDVD,youwillbepromptedforthefollowing:
•Selectthelanguageinwhichyouwanttoviewtheprogram.
•Selectthelanguageofthekeyboardyouwillbeusingwiththeprogram.
Note:Thefollowinglanguagekeyboardsaresupported:English,French,German,Spanish,Japanese,
Turkish,Italian,andDutch.YourThinkServerEasyStartupDVDmightbeEnglishonly.Inthiscase,the
keyboardlayoutshouldbeEnglish.
Youwillthenseeoneormoreremindersaboutconguringstoragedevices,andthenyouwillbepresented
withtheLenovoLicenseAgreement.Readthelicenseagreementcarefully.Youmustagreewithtermsin
ordertocontinue.
Afteragreeingtothelicenseagreement,youwillbegiventhefollowingchoices:
•Continuetothemainprograminterface
•Useashortcuttoinstallanoperatingsystembasedaresponselethatyoupreviouslycreatedusingthe
EasyStartupprogram
