TheThinkServerEasyStartupprogramsimplifiestheprocessofconfiguringsupportedRAIDandinstalling
supportedWindowsandLinuxoperatingsystemsanddevicedriversonyourserver.Theuserguideforthe
programcanbeaccesseddirectlyfromtheprograminterface.

TheThinkServerRAID300(alsoknownasonboardSASsoftwareRAID)isintegratedinthePCHon
thesystemboard.Ifyouconnectthemini-SAStomini-SASsignalcablesfromthesystemboardtothe
backplane,youcanconfigureRAIDfortheharddiskdrivesusingtheLSISoftwareRAIDConfigurationUtility
program,independentlyoftheoperatingsystem.TheThinkServerRAID300supportsRAIDlevels0,1,and
10bydefault.YoualsocanactivateRAID5byinstallingaThinkServerRAID300UpgradeKeyforAdvanced
