RAIDarraystatus
Whenyouturnontheserver,theRAIDcontrollerROMversion,theRAIDarraystatus,andthelistofthe
availableharddiskdriveswillbedisplayedduringthePOST.
TheRAIDarraystatuscanbeoneofthefollowing:
•Online
Thisisthenormalstatus,whichindicatesthattheRAIDarrayisworkingcorrectly.
•Degrade
ThisstatusindicatesthatmorethanoneharddiskdriveintheRAIDarraycannotbesynchronizedorhave
failed.Youneedtoreplacethefailingharddiskdrivesandrebuildthedata.See“Installingorreplacinga
hot-swapharddiskdrive”onpage127and“Rebuildingaphysicaldrive”onpage68.
•Offline
ThisstatusindicatesthattheRAIDarrayhasfailedandcannotberebuilt.YouneedtocreateaRAID
