Ifyouwanttousetheentireharddiskdriveasoneprimarypartition,checkthepartitioninginformation
oftheharddiskdriveonwhichyouwanttoinstalltheoperatingsystemandthenclickInstall.When
theinstallationcompletes,apartitionwillbecreatedautomatically.

f.IntheFormattingOptionsarea,selectExt3fromtheFilesystemdrop-downlistbox.
g.IntheMountOptionsarea,select/fromtheMountPointdrop-downlistbox.
h.ClickAccept.

13.IntheInstallationSettingswindow,clickSoftwaretoselectsoftwareprogramsofyourchoice.Then,
clickOK.
14.WhentheYaSTwindowopens,clickAccept.
15.ClickInstalltoinstallthesoftwareprograms.WhentheYaST2windowopens,clickInstalltoconrm
theinstallation.Theinstallationprocessbegins.
16.Whentheinstallationprocessnishes,theserverwillrestartautomatically.Setyourrootuserpassword
andthenclickNext.
Note:Thepasswordshouldhaveatleasteightcharactersinlengthandbeacombinationofupper
caseletters,lowercaseletters,andnumbers.
17.Continuewiththeinitialcongurationoftheserverbyfollowingtheinstructionsonthescreento
completetheinstallation.
