The onboard Intel RSTe is not supported by virtualization hypervisors, including VMware vSphere (ESXi),
Linux KVM, Xen, and Microsoft Hyper-V.
The onboard Intel RSTe supports up to eight drives in a RAID-0 or RAID-5 array, two drives in a RAID-1
array, and four drives in a RAID-10 array. In a Windows Server-based environment, the onboard Intel
RSTe supports up to six drives in a RAID-0 or RAID-5 array.
