WARNING: TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK OR DEATH, turn o power at
the circuit breaker.
Check your wall box:
1. Remove wallplate and disconnect switch.
2. Restore power. Carefully test wires with voltage tester
to find the hot wire.
3. Turn o power at the circuit breaker.
4. Mark the wires as shown:
Identify your wires
If your wall box looks dierent,
call an electrician.

(neutral)
wires
hot (line) wire
(find with voltage tester)
load wire
copper ground
