3 Disconnect the cable (A).
4 Remove the media tray. See “Media tray removal” on page 538.
5 Open the control panel door.
6 Remove the toner cartridge.
7 Remove the imaging unit.
8 Remove the MPF feeder lift plate. See “MPF feeder lift plate removal” on page 465.
Note: Leave the MPF feeder lift plate hanging. (Do not disconnect the MPF feeder lift plate cable.)
9 Remove the media turn guide. See “Media turn guide removal” on page 462.
10 Remove the screw (B).
Installation note: Make sure the MPF solenoid latch is properly seated in the groove.
