ADF back side skew adjustment
1 Determine which correction to apply.
1 To correct, rotate the CCDM adjustment screw counterclockwise.
2 To correct, rotate the CCDM adjustment screw clockwise.
Note: One 360‑degree turn of the CCDM adjustment screw equals approximately 0.8 mm of skew correction.
2 Remove the ADF front cover. See “ADF front cover removal” on page 587.
3 Loosen the two screws (A) securing the adjusting bracket to the ADF frame.
4 Turn the CCDM adjustment screw (B) to correct the skew.
5 After the skew has been corrected, reinstall the front cover.
