What to do if Lexmark XM5100 says 'Check tray [x] connection'?

If you see a 'Check tray [x] connection' error on your Lexmark Mfp, try the following: 1. Turn the printer off, and then turn it back on. If the error occurs again: 2. Turn off the printer. 3. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. 4. Remove the indicated tray. 5. Reattach the tray. 6. Connect the power cord to a properly grounded electrical outlet. 7. Turn the printer back on.
