garage door opener by pressing each
of the three buttons and observing that the indicator light
illuminates. Final operational check requires programming.

SAFETY CONNECT
®
Inspect the Safety Connect LED, (located in the overhead
console) for a green activation status indicator. If green
LED is not illuminated, press the SOS button once, wait for
voice prompt, and press the button again within 5 seconds.
If successful, tones will be heard followed by voice prompt
saying “Activation is complete - Good bye”. Green light
will change from off to green after call has ended. If the
green light does not illuminate, please refer to TIS for
troubleshooting procedures.

NOTE:
Vehicles may arrive with hanger requesting inspection to
Safety Connect system. If system is working properly and
green light is illuminated, disregard hanger.
