7.4.12 Electric connection
1. Open the motor terminal box.
2. Do the electrical connection before you install the enclosure. Refer to
the pump manual for instruction.
3. Connect the cables and make sure that it is away from the hot
surfaces of the pump.

7.4.13 Verify motor rotation
WARNING:
Do not close the pump inlet with your hands or any other body part and avoid objects
from being sucked inside the pump.
T
o verify the correct rotating direction of the motor, start the pump and
check that
▪ the pump fan rotates in the same direction as the arrows on the fan
protection grille.
▪ the pump creates vacuum on the inlet port.
In case of wrong dir
ection, swap the two phases at the motor clamping
board.
