  Your LFA Tablet Presses Power Tool machine might be freezing due to several reasons. The grease points might be dry, in which case you should regularly oil and grease all the grease nipple points. It could also be due to excess pressure on the Upper Drift Pin Assembly, so rotate it counterclockwise. A loose V Belt can also cause this, so adjust the Motor Support Arm's nuts to tighten the V Belt. Finally, ensure the starting position is adjusted so that the Upper Punch is at the highest point.

Ensure the Boot Timing Bar is secured by tightening its nuts and bolt. Insufficient pressure could also be the cause; try rotating the Upper Drift Pin Assembly clockwise. If the Lower Punch is broken, remove the Lower Drift Pin Assembly to access it and replace the Tooling. Also, check for powder buildup between the Lower Punch and the Die, and ensure the Lower Drift Pin Assembly drops properly during filling. If the machine works with LFA's Firmapress®, the issue may be your mix; adjust your formulation or contact LFA for support.

Check that the Lower Drift Pin Assembly Locking Bar is secured to the Lower Drift Pin Assembly and the Lower Drift Pin Assembly Cogs. It can also happen if excess granular materials were placed in the Die, preventing the ejection of the existing tablet. Clean the Tooling to remove any excess granular materials and ensure it is clean and completely dry.

  If your LFA Tablet Presses Power Tool is making knocking sounds, there could be several reasons. The Upper and Lower Punches might be colliding with the Die; if so, loosen the Base Plate bolts, readjust the Base Plate until correctly aligned, and then tighten the bolts back. The Upper Drift Pin Assembly might be slightly off; in this case, loosen the Base Plate bolts and rotate the machine until the Upper Punch aligns with the Die's bore, then tighten the bolts back. A loose V Belt can also cause knocking, so adjust the Motor Support Arm's nuts to tighten the V Belt. Alternatively, the teeth of the Pinion Gear and/or Cam Drive Cog might be broken, requiring replacement of the broken part. Finally, check for powder buildup between the Lower Punch and the Die, and ensure the Lower Drift Pin ...
