Security [Menu 4]
PIN Enable [Menu 4-1]
Within this menu, you can set the phone to ask for the PIN code of your
SIM card when the phone is switched on. To use this function, you will be
requested to enter the PIN code.
1. Enter this menu by selecting PIN Enable. Then your phone requests to
enter PIN code if PIN request is enabled.
2. Key in your PIN code.
3. Press [OK] to verify entered PIN code, and press [Back] to
erase a character you entered.
4. Then following menu will be displayed.
• Enable : Enable PIN code request.
• Disable : Disable PIN code request.
Change Codes [Menu 4-2]
This menu provides you with the function of changing access codes : PIN,
PIN2 code, and Security code ‘0000’.
1. Enter this menu by selecting Change Codes.
2. And select PIN, PIN2, or Security Code.
3. Input your original PIN codes and press [OK].
4. Your phone asks you to enter the PIN/PIN2 code or Security Code
which would replace ones and press [OK]. Then phone requests
the new PIN codes or Security Code again.
5. If you key in correct original PIN/PIN2 code or Security Code and make
correct confirmation for new ones, they will be changed.
