Note: Ez Download is always selected by default when you initially access the TV Manager.
Also note that Diagnostics is for service use only.
5. If more than one USB memory device is currently connected to the TV, be sure to select the
USB device that contains the software le you wish to use. If necessary, use the arrow keys on
the Installer Remote to select/highlight the USB DEVICE button in the top right corner of the
screen and press the Wheel (OK) button. Then, use the Up/Down arrow keys to select the ap-
propriate USB device from the pop-up list of USB devices.

6. Use the Up/Down arrow keys to select Update TV Software or Update PTC Software, as
applicable, and press the Wheel (OK) button.
Depending on your selection, a list of either TV or PTC software les stored in the LG_DTV
folder on the USB memory device will be displayed on the screen. Above the listing of les, you
can also see the current version of TV or PTC software. The following screen sample illustrates
an Update TV Software screen.

7. Use the arrow keys to select/highlight the update le to download, and then press the Wheel
(OK) button.
8. When you are ready to download the update, select UPDATE on the screen, and then press
the Wheel (OK) button on the Installer Remote.
Software update progress will be displayed on the screen. Do NOT remove the USB device until
the software update is complete. When the software update is complete, an UPDATE COMPLETE
pop-up banner will briey be displayed at the bottom of the screen, and then, the TV will reboot.
