Why is my LG Heat Pump not heating or cooling properly?
    • J
      Jonathan ScottAug 13, 2025
There are several reasons why your LG Heat Pump might not be heating or cooling effectively. It could be due to an improperly set target temperature, so ensure you have set it correctly, considering whether it is water-based or air-based. Another cause might be insufficient charged water; check the pressure gauge and add more water until it reads 2~2.5 Bar. Lastly, a low water flow rate could be the culprit. Inspect the strainer for excessive particle buildup and clean it if necessary. Also, check if the pressure gauge indicates above 4 Bar and inspect the water pipe for blockages from accumulated particles or lime.

How to fix a noisy water pump in my LG Heat Pump?
    • M
      Melissa WilliamsAug 16, 2025
Water pump noise in your LG Heat Pump can be caused by a couple of things. First, it might be that air purging wasn't completely done. Open the air purge cap and add more water until the pressure gauge reads 2~2.5 Bar. Check if water splashes out like a fountain when the tip (at the top of the hole) is pressed; if not, keep purging. Also, low water pressure could be the issue. Make sure the pressure gauge reads above 0.3 Bar and that the expansion tank and pressure gauge are working correctly.

What to do if the LG Hydro Kit ARNH30GK1A4 Heat Pump unit does not start but the remote controller displays information?
    • C
      Charles SandersAug 20, 2025
If your LG Heat Pump's remote controller displays information but the unit won't start, it could be due to the water inlet temperature. The unit will not operate if the water inlet temperature is above 57°C or below 5°C during cooling operation. In heating operation, the unit does not operate if water inlet temperature is below 15 °C. Wait for the unit to adjust the water inlet temperature accordingly. If you are not using a back up heater, increase the water temperature with an external heat source.

How to troubleshoot bad communication between the remote controller and the LG Hydro Kit ARNH30GK1A4 Heat Pump unit?
    • M
      Megan BeanAug 23, 2025
Poor communication between the remote controller and your LG Heat Pump unit may stem from a few issues. Check the wire connection between the remote controller and the Main PCB assembly(Heater) to ensure it is secure. Also, verify that the output voltage of the PCB is 12 V DC. The problem could also be caused by an incorrect connection between the sensor and PCB(Heater), a PCB(Heater) fault, or a sensor fault.

What to do if water floods out through the drain hose of my LG Hydro Kit ARNH30GK1A4 Heat Pump?
    • F
      Frank PattersonAug 27, 2025
If water is flooding out through the drain hose of your LG Heat Pump, it could be due to a few reasons. You might have charged too much water; in that case, release water by opening the safety valve switch until the pressure gauge indicates 2~2.5 Bar. Another potential cause is a damaged expansion tank, which would need replacing. Finally, the thermal protector of the water tank heater might be activated. Open the side panel of the DHW tank and push the reset button of the thermal protector.

What causes the AC water pump lock in LG Hydro Kit ARNH30GK1A4?
    • C
      Clinton BurnsAug 31, 2025
An AC water pump lock in your LG Heat Pump can be caused by a restriction of the AC water pump. This could be due to an AC water pump defect or an abnormal assembly condition. Another cause is a fan lock caused by foreign material.

How to fix bad communication between Main PCB assemblies in my LG Hydro Kit ARNH30GK1A4?
    • C
      Carlos AllenSep 4, 2025
If there's bad communication between the Main PCB assemblies in your LG Heat Pump, ensure the wire connection between the remote control panel and Main PCB assembly(Heater) is tight. The issue might arise from a disconnected connector, misconnected or broken connecting wires, or an abnormal Main PCB assembly (either Inverter or Heater).

Why is the water pipe overheated in my LG Heat Pump?
    • D
      Donald SheaSep 8, 2025
An overheated water pipe in your LG Heat Pump can be caused by abnormal operation of the electric heater or if the leaving water temperature exceeds 57 °C(R410A) or 65 °C(R32). If the electric heater control is functioning correctly, the maximum possible leaving water temperature should be 57 °C(R410A) or 65 °C(R32).
