MAINTENANCE
Indoor Unit - Cleaning Intervals
Clean the product regularly to maintain optimal performance and to prevent possible breakdown. Refer to Figure 15 for proper filter
placement. Refer to Table 6 for detailed instructions on maintenance. Review all safety instructions at the front of this manual, and adhere to
all warnings and notes on this page before proceeding with maintenance.

Maintenance Precautions
•Never use water that is hotter than 104 °F (40 °C) when cleaning filters. It may cause deforming (warping) or discoloration.
•Never use volatile substances when cleaning filters. They may damage the surface of the product.
•Do not wash the 3M Micro Protection Filter with water. Filter may be damaged. The location and shape of the filter may vary depending
on the model.
•Be sure to clean the heat exchanger coils of the outdoor unit regularly. Dirt collected in the coils may decrease the operational efficiency
or increase energy costs.
