The LG WD1485ATB(1~9) is a washing machine designed with advanced features to optimize laundry care. It incorporates an Inverter Direct Drive system, where a brushless DC motor directly drives the drum without a belt or pulley, enhancing durability and reducing noise. The machine boasts 6 Motion technology, allowing for various drum actions or combinations depending on the selected wash program. This, combined with controlled spin speeds and the ability to rotate the drum both left and right, aims to deliver superior wash performance.
A Built-in Heater automatically heats the water to the optimal temperature for selected cycles, ensuring effective cleaning. The Intelligent Wash System detects the load amount and water temperature to determine the most efficient water level and washing time, minimizing energy and water consumption. For safety and convenience, it includes a Child Lock feature that prevents children from altering settings during operation. A Low noise speed control system senses load and balance to evenly distribute the load, reducing spinning noise.
The washing machine features Fuzzy Logic to determine the best washing time by sensing water temperature, selected washing temperature, and laundry amount, optimizing performance. The washing machine's operation is user-friendly, featuring a Cycle Selector knob to choose from various wash programs tailored for different fabric types and soil levels. The POWER button turns the appliance On/Off, while the Start/Pause button initiates or stops the wash cycle.
The Dry Selector knob allows selection of dry programs such as Lower Temp., Iron Dry, Cupboard Dry, Eco Dry, and Time-based drying (30, 60, 120 minutes). The Spin, Temp. Button is used to change the spin speed and select water temperature based on the load type.
The EST. Time remaining display shows the estimated time left in the cycle and also displays error indications (e.g., 1E, dE, uE, EE, FE, PE, LE, dHE, PF, PS) in case of abnormal operation. Error indications blink, and for most errors, the power turns off automatically after 4 minutes if not resolved, except for PE and EE (20 seconds) and FE (power does not turn off).
The Child Lock function is activated by pressing and holding the Option left and right buttons for 3 seconds, disabling all buttons except the Power button.
